Martial Arts

I've gotten the opportunity in my lifetime to train, work, and teach martial arts all over the world. Of all of my "hobbies" teaching martial arts is my favorite. Its one of the most rewarding things that i've had the pleasure to do. It gave me the chance to travel to Korea, train and teach English. Im one of the few Americans that knew about Gangnam before the song Gangnam Style became the most played song ever!

Over the next few weeks ill be sharing alot of my pictures and stories from my trip around the world to Korea.
Above is a picture with me and "Master Ko" the man that I stayed with in Korea. This picture was taken a few days before i left. He took me out to a Water light show that was amazing.

Teaching english and martial arts at his school "Sing il Taekwondo" was an amazing experience.  I got to teach along side an ex-captain of the Kukkiwon Demo team. Heres a picture of me and the rest of the staff.
I couldnt help while I was there to take as many videos as I could knowing one day that they would be amazing to look back on. one of my favorite videos happened one day when I came in and asked  the head instructor if he could do a 900 kick. In my mind he was going to say he used to be able to do it, but since he doesn't actively train anymore he cant anymore.

and well... to keep things short, I couldn't have been more wrong. He looked and me Smiled and laughed and told me to get my camera. No stretching, no warm up. this is what i saw:

Im not sure what you think of taekwondo, Martial arts or whatever...what matter is... that was sick... and if you don't thingkso... go outside without stretching or warming up and try that. and let me know how hurt you feel.

;)
